Location and Use of the Golden Muck

There has been constant chatter about the game on social media, excellent reviews, and images of queues around the world as people wait to grab their copies of the game.

The release Rise is a perfect storm. It comes after Capcom’s most successful title ever, Monster Hunter World, and is also releasing on one of the most popular consoles of all time, the Nintendo Switch.

Therefore, new players trying out the series for the first time and inevitably wondering.

One of these has to do with the Golden Muck item – here’s where you can find it and how you can use it.

What is Golden Muck?

Golden Muck is part monster inside Monster Hunter Rise.

It is used to craft a variety of weapons, as well as the Almudron Armor in the game.

Where can I find the Golden Muck in Monster Hunter Rise PC?

The Golden Muck is looted from a Monster named Almudron in both the Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game.

This particular species can be found in one of three locations throughout the game. They are as follows:

• Temple ruins
• Sandy Planes
• Flooded forest

When fighting the Almudron, the hunter has a chance to find them like a drop of water. Item has a 30% chance to drop on its own or a 25% chance to drop as a pair.

It also has a 22% chance of being a Target Bonus or a 13% chance of being a Capture Bonus.

How to defeat Almudron

The main priority when fighting Almudron is to attack the tail. This part was covered with thick mud, making the monster unbelievably strong.

It is a water elemental monster with a weakness of three stars for fire, two stars for ice, and one star for thunder.

Out of all the possible conditions on Almudron, Fireblight is by far the most effective and players should try and take advantage of this.
