Liz Cheney Threatens “Criminal Punishment” Against President Trump

While making a statement before the committee on January 6, RINO WRepublican Representative yoming Liz Cheney has issued a direct threat against former President Donald Trump.
The threat came as Cheney was dealing with the committee, asserting that Trump would face “criminal penalties” if he lied.
“President Trump continues to make the same false claims about a stolen election, which he misled millions of Americans. These are the same claims he knows have incited violence in the past. He recently suggested that he wants to debate the members of this committee,” said Cheney.
“This committee’s investigation into the violent attack on our Capitol on January 6 is not a game. When this committee convenes hearings, witnesses will be called to testify and take oaths,” she continued. “Any communication that Mr. Trump has with this committee will be under oath. And if he continues to lie after that, he will be held accountable to the laws of this great nation and subject to criminal punishment for every untruth he utters.”

Check out what the Washington Examiner report:
WRepublican Representative Yoming Liz Cheney, vice chairman of the House Select Committee tasked with investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, has issued a warning to the former President. Donald Trump while he was in a position to argue with the members of the committee: Lie, and will be criminally punished.
Cheney made the comment in a statement before the committee voted to recommend that the House keep former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark contempt for Congress and refer him to criminal prosecution.
…
Cheney was ousted from her position as Republican leader in the 3rd House in large part because of her strong criticisms of the former president in the aftermath of January 6.
She is one of two Republicans sitting on the committee, both appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Minority Leader of the Republican Party Kevin McCarthy chose five Republicans to sit on the committee, but Pelosi vetoed two of her picks, leaving McCarthy to drag the rest.
