Liverpool: Looking to shake off the injury, Liverpool hope to welcome Andrew Robertson back into the starting lineup after he returned to the bench against Porto following a hamstring injury. There will likely still be rotation as Liverpool’s second team is enough here but they also need to do a good job of catching up with Chelsea in the title race.

Southampton: Southampton are improving but it is questionable what their best attacking force is. Armando Broja, Nathan Redmond, Che Adams and Adam Armstrong all showed lightning on points but the Saints failed to score enough goals. Faced with such a strong Liverpool, they will have to take advantage of every scoring opportunity they get, which makes it difficult not to know your best attack.
