Legendary version may be coming in the game

Xbox Game Pass is a gift that never stops giving. Sure, there are titles that leave the service on a monthly basis, but it often feels like the additions outweigh the ones removed. Xbox Game Pass is the perfect gift this holiday season, whether buying Xbox One or Xbox Series X Giftsand it looks like BioWare fans might be enjoying more soon Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

The faithful and thorough remake was first released back in May 2021, with sales far exceeding expectations. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition had a bit of success, setting the stage for the new Block effect The game is in development at BioWare, and going forward, it looks like those who have avoided it will receive it along with their Xbox Game Pass subscription.

First spotted by Polish gaming site XGP (and translated by VGC), Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was briefly marked with the now iconic Game Pass badge in the Official Xbox Store. This could theoretically be a mistake, as strange things are bound to happen, but this badge briefly appearing on a game will indicate the game is about to move to Game Pass. If so, there’s also a reason it will happen soon — or participate Xbox Game Pass’ November picks or perhaps sometime in December.

In theory, it could be longer than that, but the appearance of the badge and the quick removal would at least suggest that it’s coming soon. It is important to note that EA Play comes with Xbox Game Pass Ultimateand new EA releases usually join EA Play within a year or so, as VGC pointed out. In other words, this badge is backed up by previous models and if Mass Effect: Legendary Edition come to EA Play (join the original Block effect game), then the Game Pass makes perfect sense.

It all remains to be seen, of course, but fans may want to update the Xbox Game Pass social media channels for additions. Much Black Friday Sale can even list and include Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, but almost certainly, just getting it through Game Pass is the better, most cost-effective purchase.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is a stop on ME4 hype trains, but so much more. Between a trailer and a poster, BioWare is definitely taking the right steps to promote the game. However, it seems there are some secrets in the trailer that none of the fans noticed, and BioWare promises to reveal this Block effect secret if it wins the Game Award category “Favorite Moment of 2020” for the first trailer. Those events take place on December 9, so hopefully fans will find out more next month.
