Legendary Edition coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate arrives online
The listing for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition found on the Microsoft Store seems to refer to a possible Xbox Game Pass for the PC release.
Earlier this year, Electronic Arts released Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, an updated collection of all three of ‘s original trilogy Block effect Game. The list seems, for all intents and purposes, to be a typical Mass Effect: Legend listing for PC platform – except for one detail. The title of the listing is also codenamed “Rosebud.” Rosebud is a codename historically used to refer to Xbox Game Pass games offered on the platform through Microsoft’s partnership with Electronic Arts.
It means Mass Effect: Legendary Edition can come Xbox Game Pass via EA Play service. EA will do it Mass Effect: Legendary Edition available through EA Play, and will then be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers to play as they please. That’s what the “Rosebud” listing for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition seems to be referencing.
This isn’t the first time the “Rosebuds” listing in the Microsoft store has leaked, alluding to future EA Play games being added to the service. In fact, very soon EA Play Leak tied with EA games to Xbox Game Pass on PC revolves around 75 Microsoft Store game listings, each with the codename “Rosebud” in their title.
This is not the first proof that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is also coming to Xbox Game Pass. As of November, the current official list for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition in the Xbox store has the “GAME PASS” logo painted on it. The image was quickly changed and no official statement was made about the leak.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will be a definite addition to Xbox Game Pass’s library of games, just as it’s not Cyberpunk 2077, is also not it Halo Infinite, Block effect remains a very popular franchise.
