A new BioShock 4 rumor, corroborated by multiple sources, details the setting, timeframe, and release window of the upcoming game.

As of this writing, The Game Awards are five days away, and any rumors or leaks online will be tailored to its context. For example, many people are hoping BioShock will be at The Game Awards, but some other rumors suggest it won’t be revealed until next year. It is still to be seen, but it is impossible for those The Game Awards escape rumors as a potential reveal time.

However, that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from driving the games industry. Even though BioShock 4 whether at The Game Awards, surprisingly revealed early next year, or waiting until E3 2022, fans are eager to see more. Now, new rumors from reliable sources abound BioShock 4 on the table.

In a Patreon-only video, Colin Moriarty recently posted some details about the upcoming BioShock game, and VGC’s own sources were able to back it up. Moriarity claims that BioShock 4 will take place in the 1960s in a fictional Antarctic city, called Borealis. It is worth mentioning that another recent rumor said New BioShock real game will have title BioShock: Isolation, and building on each other or not, it’s the perfect title for a city in this polar region.

Moriarity also said that the game will be bound, narcissistic, with the previous BioShock Gameand it’s scheduled for release next year, 2022. The former could mean a connection of themes and elements that have defined previous games, and that’s hugely important as a developer developers are aware that this new game BioShock will be compared to the original creator, Ken Levine. He’s currently working on a new game, but the Cloud Chamber developer includes some BioShock vet anyway.

Only one BioShock website online, which appears after the game is confirmed, means “keep an eye on it.” The URL incorporates the phrase, “always a lighthouse” and, as many know, it’s a strong connection to the story. And, if these rumors are true, 2022 will be an important year for the franchise.

It was two years since new BioShock The game has been confirmed and no solid information has been given about it. As this rumor suggests, it’s possible that fans will be more inclined soon and by this time next year, actually playing. BioShock: Isolation or whatever it is called.
