League of Legends Game designer RiotPhlox has revealed which champions will be targeted in the upcoming 11.24 patch. The new patch will feature a bunch of other pre-season tweaks.

Preseason has brought a lot of big changes to League of Legends, including two new dragons and more items. Last year’s preseason brought controversial item overhaul and it seems that Riot Games has not finished adjusting its items.

Unlike most normal patches, 11.24 will bring many system changes:

  • Archangel’s Staff – Combination item price will be reduced from 3000 to 2600 gold

  • Chemtech Mini Buff – Damage Amplifier increased from 5% to 6%

  • Hextech Mini Buff – Bonus attack speed increased from 5% to 6%

  • Conqueror – rune duration increased from 4 to 5 seconds; Adaptive damage per stack increased from 2-4 to 2-4.5

  • Predator – Maximum movement speed reduced from 60% to 45%; Acceleration time increased from 1 to 1.5 seconds

  • Chemtech Dragon Soul – Bleed Out Time reduced from 5 to 4 seconds

  • Crown Shattered Queen – Ability power reduced from 70 to 60

  • Cosmic Drive – Ability Power reduced from 75 to 65

  • Frostfire Gauntlet – Damage ratio will change from 20-100 (+0.5% max HP) to 12-85 without scaling

  • Axiom Arc – Ultimate skill refund will reduce %t from 25% to 20

Chemtech Dragon Soul is definitely one of the most obnoxious additions Riot introduced in the last few seasons. This dragon soul has the ability to completely change the course of the game. Passively attaching mini-Sion to each champion has a huge impact in teamfights and most players will prefer this dragon soul over late-game buffed targets like Baron or even Elder Dragon.

After League of Legends Champions will receive the following tweaks:

  • Ivern – Krug Freedom Experience increased from 37 to 95

  • Samira – R mana cost reduced from 100-0 to 0 at all ranks

  • Caitlyn – New: Caitlyn’s next auto attack partially resets the timer whenever she targets an enemy marked by a trap or net

  • Camille – E cooldown increased from 16-10 to 16-12 seconds

Since its release Arcane, Vi’s popularity has passed through the roof. Her pick rate has spiked over the past two weeks and she’s currently at a staggering 15%. Vi is slowly climbing up the road to become one of the most picked champions in League of Legends. However, such a spike in popularity often leads to a drop in win percentage, but Vi’s win rate has actually increased to 53%.

Caitlyn has always one of the most popular League of Legends champion and updating her image has been one of the main topics on Reddit over the past few days. ONE League of Legends Staff member Riot Rovient has revealed that Caitlyn’s visual update will target some of her micro muscles, such as canceling animations that have had an adverse effect on her overall strength. This new mechanic will revert those changes to a certain extent, and Caitlyn will most likely return to the ADC meta.
