League of Legends introduces Zeri .’s skills
After accidentally revealing Zeri, League of Legends has officially released a teaser introducing some of Zeri’s abilities in the game.
Riot had a hugely successful 2021 with developer expansion League of Legends property through Arcane and Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Although it remains to be seen how League of Legends will grow even more in 2022 outside of MOBA, a new year means a new season, new changes and new champions. In the past three years, one League of Legends Champion was released in January, with 2021 seeing the addition of Vex And it looks like this year is no different.
Yesterday, Zeri was accidentally revealed as an upcoming new champion League of Legends. Gameplay wise, nothing has been revealed about Zeri. The teaser gave fans a glimpse of her and her story, helping players see what role she would play and how she would fit in. League of Legends overall legend. Recently, however, League of Legends has revealed more information about Zeri including what some of her abilities may entail.
In a video the developer introduces what’s in store League of Legends in 2022, fans got a glimpse of how Zeri plays in the game. She is confirmed to be an AD Carry with electric-type abilities. While the stats about her abilities and the unique skills they have may not be revealed, the video showcases quite a bit of information. During the gameplay video, Zeri is seen wielding a machine gun which makes it look like this could be her auto attack, but her Q skill is actually a shooting skill. Unlike most ADCs that use auto attack to farm and deal most of the damage, Zeri uses her Q instead.
Zeri still has an auto-attack, but it’s intended for more usage scenarios since it’s considered a spell. Also, although not mentioned in the video, it appears that Zeri has ranged tools that she uses to close short distances such as dashing or jumping over large terrain. The last skill shown was some form of AOE ult that helped her team turn the tide of the fight.
The skills introduced in the video are very interesting with the auto-attack Q skill being unique. It’s similar to Jinx in how she switches between rockets or shotguns with her Q depending on the situation. Zeri is from Zaun, it’s entirely possible that this resemblance is intentional since Jinx also lives there. It remains to be seen whether or not Zeri may appear in the second season of Arcane.
Although Zeri’s initial reveal was met with mixed reactions regarding her looks, many fans commented on how much better her appearance in the game looks than in the splash art. hers. Others are concerned that Zeri’s kits may be too stacked. For now, fans will just have to wait and see how she plays in the game and yes or no she will be nerfed or even boosted for a League of Legends patch.
