LaGuardia Airport AirTrain Gets The Green Light, Construction Set To Begin This Summer – CBS New York
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The Federal Aviation Administration gave the green light to LaGuardia Airport AirTrain.
Port Authority said AirTrain will provide a sustainable and reliable travel option to LaGuardia.

AirTrain will connect to public transport at Willets Point in Queens, allowing travelers to get to the airport from Midtown, Manhattan, in less than 30 minutes.

The project will help spur the region’s economic recovery by creating 3,000 jobs in union building.
