KR Esports shocked when it reached the Semifinals

Day 9 of Valorant Champions ended as KRÜ Esports unexpectedly reached the semi-finals after defeating Fnatic. The Latin American e-sports organization, KRÜ Esports, was founded late last year by soccer player Sergio Agüero. The team has consistently featured in international Masters tournaments but their appearance at the world championships was the most impressive.

In another match that night, the Stage 3 Gambit Esports champions made it to the semi-finals after beating Southeast Asia’s X10 Crit. There will be no matches tonight and the world championship will resume on December 11, 2021 with the four semi-finalists facing each other.

Gambit Esports vs X10 Crit (Gambit Esports won 2-1)

The Gambit Esports Stage 3 champion took down the last remaining Southeast Asian team X10 Crit after a hard-fought victory. Gambit started with a 13-7 clean sheet victory but X10 quickly responded with a similar opening goal in the second map.

In the third and final game, Gambit’s Timofey “Take note” Khromov came out with 20 lives on the board along with just 10 deaths. Gambit didn’t go well during the event, but the team managed to get the job done on every occasion. It remains to be seen whether Gambit can continue the momentum from Masters Berlin and win the world championship.

KR Esports vs Fnatic (KR Esports won 2-1)

With Gambit Esports taking out Southeast Asia’s X10 Crit, fans have been looking forward to the pan-European semi-final. But KRÜ Esports proved why the team should not be disqualified. While it may not have a multi-year history compared to other eSports organizations, the team has managed to keep up with the best in the world.

Angelo “Keznit” Mori definitely had his best performance on LAN so far with 69 kills across the board and average teamfight (ACS) over 300. Fnatic simply couldn’t deal with him when He helped his team reach the semi-finals of the highest-stakes event worth yet.
