The Knicks’ wheeling-and-dealing first spherical of the 2021 NBA Draft took them into the second.
After making a pair of trades — and choosing Quentin Grimes at No. 25 on Thursday evening at Barclays Heart, the Knicks despatched the No. 32 choose to Oklahoma Metropolis, as a substitute including the Nos. 34 and 36 picks.
At No. 34, they snagged Rokas Jokubaitis, a 6-foot-5 lefty guard from Lithuania presently a participant for FC Barcelona in Spain. The 20-year-old is a ball-handler and initiatives as a reliable, strong participant.
Two picks later, the Knicks made Tom Thibodeau blissful, selecting up West Virginia level guard Miles McBride, who impressed the coach throughout his exercise with the crew. The previous highschool quarterback might be a draft-day steal.
