Kingston, Ont. Police are investigating sexual assaults in the city’s university area – Kingston

Kingston Police Department is asking for the public’s help with an active investigation related to a sexual assault near Brock Street and University Avenue.

Police say that around 2:40 a.m. on July 1, a 20-year-old woman was walking towards a house when a man attacked her.

The suspect sexually assaulted the woman before she could scream, prompting the man to flee, police say.

When they heard the screams, two bystanders came to help the woman.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30s, 6’1″ tall, with dark hair and an average build.

At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing gray cargo pants, a light-colored T-shirt and black boots.
