Kingpin Star Likes Tweet About His Rumored Return In Hawkeye

Vincent D’Onofrio couldn’t have made it clearer that he wants to return as a Netflix man Kingpin. The actor’s strong performance saw his Wilson Fisk go down in the annals of Marvel Comics history as one of the best and most memorable live-action villains we’ve seen. I’ve seen it before, and he’s happy to admit it he feels as if he has unfinished business with character.
Sony owns the feature film rights to the New York City crime boss, while Marvel Studios is responsible for his episodic appearances, so in addition to the film co-produced Spiderman the franchise seems like Disney Plus is the safest bet for his return that we’ve all been waiting for, which is exactly what we’ve been hearing.
For a long time, there were rumors that D’Onofrio would appear in Hawk Eye, before continuing to lend his talents to the spinoff series Echo, with Charlie Cox also being heavily touted for a role in the project. His social media activity has always been of the pro-Kingpin type, but as you can see below, Full Metal Jacket and Man in black the star liked and then quickly disliked a tweet announcing that he would appear in a specific episode of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop’s small-screen adventure.

Of course, this is not the first time D’Onofrio leave out vague likes and make cryptic comments on social media to get people talking, but as an attentive listener to the fan base, Kevin Feige would be more aware of the need to watch Kingpin back to our screen, whether he is multiverse in nature or not.
