Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features a new gameplay trailer at The Game Awards highlighting the unique abilities of all its members.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was officially launched last year at the DC FanDome, but fans had to wait a long time to see the gameplay. It was previously confirmed that Suicide Squad will be featured at The Game Awardsand developer Rocksteady has finally announced its first official gameplay trailer.
Suicide Squad is an open world action adventure game set in Metropolis and taking place after events of Batman: Knight Arkham. It focuses heavily on co-op, but can also be played solo with AI partners. As the name suggests, the story revolves around killing members of the Justice League. The key members of the Justice League, including Superman and the Green Lantern, are under Brainiac’s control, and it now falls into a group of heroes incapable of saving the world.
Intro of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League begins by confirming that Flash has also been brainwashed and that the player is tasked with killing him. The video showcases some of the unique abilities of all four playable members of Suicide Squad – Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and King Shark. The action-packed trailer offers a glimpse of the variety of weapons and moves available to the party, before concluding with an interface that resembles the final confrontation with the Flash.
