Kevin Smith Says Vader and Skeletor Are The Best Villains Ever

There’s no doubt that he’s one of the most beloved cartoon villains out there, but Kevin Smith considers Skeletor to be one of the best bad guys in popular culture. Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation revived the classic ’80s character for the 2020s, with the lord of Snake Mountain now voiced by Star Wars Mark Hamill icon. Talk about Star Wars, Smith believes that Darth Vader is the only villain that can match Skeletor.

Smith admits that he has a “controversial” stance on the matter because he thinks Skeletor and Vader are the only two villains in television and film, though he later added Joker’s DC (also played by Hamill several times) to that list.
