Keanu Reeves Doesn’t Want John Wick or Neo in Mortal Kombat

Keanu Reeves gives a surprising answer to a question about adding any of his iconic action movie characters to Mortal Kombat.
NS Mortal Kombat The franchise has added countless iconic cinematic characters to its game over the years, but if Keanu Reeves had a say, two of his most iconic characters wouldn’t be. participate in the Tournament.
Keanu Reeves recently sat down with Esquire Magazine’s “Explain This” video series, where he answered fan-submitted questions. One of the questions asked Keanu if he had any say in adding Neo, John Wick or both. Mortal Kombat Universe, did he allow it? The question is a reference to a 2019 story where Mortal Kombat Director Ed Boon teases a John Wick DLC Additional for Mortal Kombat 11. His answer was a surprisingly certain “No”.
Reeves is quoted as saying “If it’s up to me? No. Mortal Kombat great in many ways, but I think… you know, Neo, John Wick, they’re doing their own thing. Mortal Kombat are doing their own thing. “His reasoning behind the answer seems to be rooted in his high respect for Mortal Kombat Game. Either character would be an appropriate addition to Mortal Kombat because the game already has Rambo, Robocop, Terminator and lots of other action movie icons.
John Wick appeared in the video game as a player in Fortnite and has his own game, the action-strategy game John Wick Hex. Neo appeared in movie-related games during the golden age of Triple Matrix and rumors suggest that Fortnite can have its own Matrix cross event before release Matrix Recovery.
Keanu Reeves is the central character in Cyberpunk 2077 play Johnny Silverhands, a game that deals with several themes Matrix and high octane action like John Wick movies. So it’s not like he’s opposed to any more video game appearances. Just if it’s up to him, it seems he wants the characters to stand on their own in their respective vehicles.
Parent companies of either franchisor (Lionsgate for John Wick, WarnerBros for Matrix) would be the stuff for NetherRealm “OK” to introduce either character into the game. The studio announced that they have Officially include production on Mortal Kombat 11 and have moved on to the next game, so any Neo or John Wick additions will be in Mortal Kombat 12. It would be a pity if either of the two characters appeared in Mortal Kombat, it would go against Keanu Reeves’ wishes.
