At some point in our lives, most of us have thought of the idea of cloning. Actually not, but when we’re sick and want to skip work or school or learn that dinner could lead to an awkward conversation, a copy certainly helps.
The humanistic ethic has been exploited for entertainment for many years, from cartoons to sci-fi to horror.
Two, starring Karen Gillan, Aaron Paul, Beulah Koale, Martha Kelly, and Jesse Eisenberg, helps us come to terms with creating a clone of ourselves to deal with something tragic – and the aftermath the fruit that accompanies it.
IMDb shared this synopsis for the film:
“One woman opted for a cloning procedure after receiving a terminal diagnosis but as she recovered, attempts to get her clones to shut down failed, leading to a duel due to the disease. court authorized until death.”
Gillan is excited to share her first look at the film with fans, noting it’s a “bold look” at the satirical thriller in which she must prepare to fight to the death – against yourself again. We can only imagine what it’s like to train to play your clone.
The film’s premise sounds like it’s sure to stick with fans long after the movie is over, and the first look at the movie is terrifying.
Not only does her character have to fight herself against a terminal diagnosis, but she also has to physically fight a clone to remain herself when she comes back from the brink of death. Not an easy situation for anyone in.
IMDb also shared an interesting note about the film.
“Shot during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tampere, Finland was chosen as the filming location because of the Finnish government’s successful efforts to limit corona cases.
