Justin Timberlake & Janet Jackson Super Bowl Producers Say They ‘Feel Betrayed’ By Infamous Wardrobe Mistake

It seems the movie around Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s The infamous 2004 Super Bowl performance to watch another day.

In the upcoming volume of the corpus ‘The New York Times presented: ‘ Former MTV senior vice president Salli Frattini, who served as a producer on the show Midway, revealed that she “felt betrayed” by Janet Jackson, 55, and Justin Timberlake, 40 years old, when their performance together ended in a controversial wardrobe incident. “I am personally a wreck, and I almost lost it. I was in tears. Everyone cried. It’s really annoying. It’s very emotional. I feel betrayed.”

“Instinct told me that there was a private conversation between the wardrobe, the stylist, and the artist, where someone thought this would be a good idea, and it backfired.”

She added that after the incident,

“[Janet] never said anything to us. Here we are trying to ask the person if this happened to… and she is gone. Then we looked for Justin. We pulled him aside. ‘Justin, what just happened? ” He said, ‘It was never meant to be. I told you guys you already knew.’ We didn’t. He was very apologetic. He had a rider.”

As previously reported, In the 38th Annual NFL Championship Game Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake perform together during recess. At the end of their performance, something seemed to go wrong and Justin tear a piece of Janet’s top showing one of her breasts to the public. Unfortunately, the controversial event has resulted in a lot of backlash for Janet.

According to reports, a few days after the event Janet released a statement claiming MTV had no prior knowledge of the wardrobe overturn. (MTV and Viacom were the channels that produced the Halftime Show at the time.)

“My decision to reveal my costume at the end of the mid-show was made after the final rehearsals. MTV didn’t know about it at all.”
