Justice Washington splits with Fury, Kalios adds

Washington Justice has been gradually restructuring some parts of its roster throughout Overwatch An offseason tournament and a familiar face could complete the team’s 2022 roster.

Shin “Kalios” Woo-yeol will play tanks for Washington next season, according to a post from Justice Today. Washington veteran Kim “Fury” Jun-ho was also awarded a formal goodbye from group.

Kalios must be a household name for longtime fans of Overwatch League, played off-tank for Boston Uprising in the league’s first season. After being released from the uprising, he spent the past three years in Overwatch Circuit Contenders, playing for teams like Third Impact and O2 Blast.

He made his short-term return to the league by joining the New York Excelsior in the latter part of the 2021 season. As part of Justice in 2022, he will share tank duties with Kim “Mag” Tae- fig.

As for Fury, Justice’s goodbye post said he wanted to be closer to his family in Korea. While this doesn’t guarantee signing the legendary tank, some teams in the East Region are still lacking a solid tank fleet and can use his expertise.
