The final crossover takes to the stage in fan art that imagines a Justice League that brings together the heroes of both the Arrowverse and the DCEU.

DC’s last crossover takes the stage in fantasy fan art Crisis on 2 Earths the movie brings together the heroes of both Arrowverse and DCEU. Unlike the MCU, which is once again expanding into television with movie-linked streaming shows, DC boasts two different connected universes that largely stand alone in film and on television. While the DCEU has movies that focus on the universe’s biggest heroes like Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill), the Arrowverse steadily builds its own world with shows that focus on individual characters, all of which grow from Arrow.

However, as DC continues to change the way it operates, there have been some minor instances of a crossover between the Arrowverse and the DCEU. Arrowverse’s biggest event, Crisis on Infinite Earths, sees its Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) face off against the DCEU’s (Ezra Miller). It was a brief moment but still delighted fans. This new trend looks set to continue with Miller’s first solo film, The Flash, as Gustin is reported to have a cameo. Beyond that, it remains to be seen whether the two DC worlds will ever come together.

However, there are plenty of fans who will be interested in the idea. Digital artist artoftimetravel shared a poster for the fantasy movie Justice League: Crisis on 2 Earths, and it brings together each hero’s Arrowverse and DCEU partners. While in fact Crisis on 2 Earths With different storylines, the poster uses a similar design to show the likes of Batman and Supergirl facing each other. Check it out below.

Most of the heroes featured on both factions of DC art are major players in their respective universes, but the others don’t receive quite the same treatment. For example, the Arrowverse’s Batman (Warren Christie) has yet to be seen in his proper form; to replace, Batwoman season 2 reveals Bruce Wayne’s face through a changed Hush. Also, the DCEU’s Martian Manhunter (Harry Lennix) was only revealed in his true form this year in Justice League by Zack Snyder, and it remains to be seen if he will return in a future project.

The DC franchise hasn’t always been successful in expanding its world, but things are improving. The Arrowverse continues to grow with seemingly endless new programs, with Superman & Lois be the newest to join. While, DCEU there are a number of long awaited movies coming out in the next few years, including said above Speed and Black Adam. As both worlds continue to evolve, perhaps there will be more opportunities for small crossovers. Otherwise, there’s always fan art.
