Julio Lugo, World Series Champion with 2007 Red Sox, Reportedly Dead at 45

Lugo, who hails from the Dominican Republic and has honed his skills in the high school and youth leagues in New York City, will turn 46 on Tuesday. He played in the major leagues from 2000 to 2011 and spent time with seven teams, including the Houston Astros, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves.
