Jujutsu Kaisen beat Demon Slayer as the best selling manga in Japan in 2021

Both series decided to beat other popular titles like Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia and One Piece.

Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen is the best-selling manga series in Japan in 2021 according to data released by Oricon.

The series sold an estimated 30,917,746 copies between November 23, 2020 and November 21, 2021, beating Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer more than 1.4 million copies. Both sets are enjoy impressive success and sustained popularity, with Demon Slayer manga sold an estimated 29,511,021 copies.

The best-selling manga of the year are as follows;

1. Jujutsu Kaisen – 30,917,746
2. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – 29.511,021
3. Tokyo Reverger – 24,981,486

5. My Hero Academia – 7,020.361

Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and Tokyo Reverger is a number The most popular series currently in production. My Hero Academia remains a prominent force along with Attack the giant, although there was a significant drop in volume between the top three and the bottom two bestsellers.

Demon Slayer The 23rd and final volume was the best-selling manga in Japan over the past year, selling a record 5,171,440 copies. A penalty shootout, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – A Tale of Water and Fire, is the second year best selling comic, reaching estimated sales of 2,374,621.

Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen dominate personal sales, with One mouthful still maintains a steady presence despite ranking lower than the two contemporary Jump series. Demon Slayer also topped the list of best-selling light novel series in 2021, with Adapted from a light novel sold about 776,320 units in the whole year. The rest of the top five stood as;
