Joseph Baena loves having the Terminator as his father

Joseph Baena opened up about his relationship with his father Arnold Schwarzenegger during an appearance on No wax podcast, hosted by his fellow action star celebrities Sophia and Sistine Stallone.
It was not an easy relationship. “I grew up with my mom, and I was always worried, and I didn’t want him to think badly of me and be like, ‘What the hell is this guy doing? He just partyed all the time,” said the aspiring actor and broker. “Now it’s like great. I’m very close with my dad, and we joke about everything.”
Baena’s mother, Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena, was the housekeeper in the family that the former governor of California shared with then-wife Maria Shriver when Joseph was born in 1997. Schwarzenegger recounts Everyone in 2012 that it would be several years before he found out he was Joseph’s father. When Joseph “started looking like me, that’s when I understood it. I put everything together”. said action star.
“I also have to point out that given my relationship with my dad, it took a little while for him and I to get really close. [feel] like I could joke around with him and talk about anything,” Baena said. However, the two currently have a close relationship. According to Baena, Arnold “always wanted to hear about the movie. He was like, “Tell me everything, tell me about the movie, tell me about the girls.”
Baena, also a real estate agent in the Los Angeles area, has chosen to follow in her famous father’s footsteps in at least two ways. He is a dedicated bodybuilder and recently started an acting career, and has earned a few credits on IMDB. However, do not seek him to change his name in pursuit of that.
“I never had the name Schwarzenegger. I think it’s really the one thing that I didn’t focus on changing it,” explained the young actor. “I am doing my own thing. I hadn’t thought about it that much. I already have them. I’ve done a lot and succeeded, and moved forward with my goals. That was the last thing on my mind. ”
However, the lack of a common name doesn’t seem to be a barrier to affection. Both father and son often share photos together on social networks, recently Schwarzenegger posted a set of happy birthday photos to Joseph.
Arnold exclaimed, “Happy birthday to Joseph! I am so proud of you and I love you! You’re crushing it in the gym, in your real estate career, and in acting, I know this is going to be another great year. ”
