Jongilpoom brand enoki mushrooms recalled for possible Listeria contamination

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says a recall has been issued by Covic Worldwide Buying and selling Inc. for its Jongilpoom model enoki mushrooms resulting from potential Listeria contamination.

Listeria is a foodborne micro organism that may make folks very sick.

The product was sold in 200-gram packages in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba and should have been distributed in different provinces or territories.

Prospects are being informed to both throw the mushrooms out or return them to the shop the place they had been bought.

There have been no experiences of any diseases linked to the product.

Meals contaminated with Listeria might not look or scent spoiled and signs can embody vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, extreme headache and neck stiffness.
