JoJo’s First Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean OP Revealed

Warner Bros. Anime YouTube channel. in Japan streamed the opening ceremony early Sunday morning in a live stream event.

Warner Bros. Anime YouTube channel. in Japan revealed the first prologue to the upcoming JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean anime, which is is set to stream on Netflix starting December 1.

The channel held an hour-long “pre-release” live stream on Sunday, showcasing the new opening and revealing some key cast news.

The theme “STONE OCEAN” performed by rock band Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. The group is best known for releasing their debut single “Highschool of the Dead”, which opened the 2010 anime of the same name. Since then, they have worked on popular anime series such as Strike The Blood, GATE, and That time I was reincarnated as a Slime.

Kamikaze Douga returns to animate the opening sequence. The Shibuya-based studio worked on the opening animations of the series up until Stardust Crusadersand also worked on Batman Ninja cartoons as well Star Wars In short, “The Duel”.

The stream also revealed that veteran voice actor Tomokazu Seki will voice Enrico Pucci. Seki is known as the one who talks behind the scenes Jujutsu Kaisen’s Panda, Gilgamesh in Destiny franchise, and Shinya Kougami from Psycho-Pass along with other notable roles in Stens; Gate, Doraemon, and more.

Rocky ocean will stream the first 12 episodes on Netflix from December 1, and will air on Japanese television at the end of January. Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, and Animax will air the series after it airs on TELEVISION.

Daisuke Ono will reprise the role of Jotaro Kujo while Fairouz Who will voice Jolyne. Miyuki Sawashiro previously voiced the character in the 2015 video game, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. Mutsumi Tamura will voice Ermes Costello, with Mariya Ise and Yūichirō Umehara voicing Foo Fighters and Weather Report respectively.
