JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run Anime Release Date: When will season 6 come out?

The Anime Stone Ocean just premiered, but fans have been wanting to know when they can look forward to season 6. There will almost certainly be one JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Run the ball of steel cartoonand we don’t predict the release date to be too far in the future. So when can we expect to see Johnny Joestar race across America?

When does Steel Ball Run anime come out?

It may feel like the wait between the Jojo anime seasons is forever, but they were produced pretty quickly. Although it’s been almost 15 years since the Phantom Blood manga launched and the current anime series, the wait time between seasons isn’t nearly as long. We’ve seen a two-year gap between seasons, so we can assume that will be the case for the Steel Ball Run anime.

The wait between Golden Wind and Stone Ocean has lasted three years. However, the COVID-19 epidemic could play an important role in this delay. Going forward, we expect the final batch of Stone Ocean episodes to be released in mid-late 2022 and we should see the Steel Ball Run anime premiere sometime between mid-late 2024.

Some fans may wonder why it takes two years to produce a season of JoJo when so many other anime manage the annual schedule. However, it makes sense considering that the previous three seasons had 39 episodes. Furthermore, David Productions doesn’t take cartoons lightly, and there’s a lot of complicated work to be done. Taking this into consideration, it’s surprising that each is not split into multiple installments or released every three or four years instead of every two.

Now, the release date for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run anime has arrived. But, thankfully, we still have plenty of Stone Ocean coming up (and hopefully the JoJolands manga).
