John Henry Ramirez execution: Supreme Court seems split on inmate’s request for pastor in death chamber

Ramirez says he has given his life to God because the killing. He needs the person who has been his religious adviser for a number of years, Pastor Dana Moore of Second Baptist Church, to be within the execution chamber with him, to the touch him and pray aloud for his soul. Texas says Moore can attend the execution, however provided that he stays quiet and away from Ramirez, citing security and decorum.
