Jodie Whittaker Says She Has Hope She Will Return For ‘Doctor Who’

Whittaker joined the show with EP Chris Chibnall, and the two will be leaving at the same time after season three of this year’s special trilogy. In Chibnall’s place, former producer Davies – who previously directed the show from 2005-10, overseeing the terms of Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant – is returning. His era will officially begin with WhoSpecial 60th anniversary in 2023.
Given that the show’s next form will begin with a big birthday celebration, it’s no wonder the show specifically showcases some Past Doctors, like the spectacular 50th anniversary celebration. .
