On Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel took aim at Trump’s new social media platform.
“Donald Trump, you know, isn’t on Twitter – he’s banned from using Twitter – but baby Don Jr is on Twitter, and yesterday he gave his followers a preview of the transmission project. Dad’s new social media,” Kimmel said.
As you may know, the former reality TV host turned president was kicked out of Twitter after he violated the platform’s terms of service on several occasions. Twitter did so to “Preventing glorification of violence can inspire others to reproduce acts of violence and identify that [his tweets] will most likely encourage and inspire people to recreate the atrocities that took place at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.”
