Jimmy Kimmel goes to town on the campaign of “intoxicated” Rudy Giuliani

On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel devoted his late-night monologue to what he dubbed “Episode 2 of CSI: I Can’t Believe Donald Trump Isn’t In Jail Yet” — aka the Jan. 6 congressional hearings.

Trump’s bizarre decision to “reject the advice of members of his team” and declare victory on election night, despite even Fox News saying he lost, allegedly came from an “apparently drunk” Rudy Giuliani.

“Apparently Drunk — That’s the title of Rudy Giuliani’s bio, by the way,” Kimmel joked. “Rudy Giuliani told him to go out and say he won. Rudy is drunk, so you can tell his breath smells more like booze than cigars and cat poo for a change.”

The claim that Giuliani was a drunken mess was backed up by former Trump adviser Jason Miller, who when asked if there was anyone “who, from your observation, drank too much that night,” replied, “Um… Mayor Giuliani.”

Kimmel couldn’t help but laugh. “Okay, so Rudy was drunk. The big question is: What is Donald Trump’s excuse? He doesn’t even drink! I mean, that statement from his attorneys, his staff, his campaign advisers, his own family — there’s really only two possibilities here: either Donald Trump lied and committed multiple crimes trying to rig an election, or he is beside himself ‘ Rocker. I think it could be both.”

When Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner was asked during his testimony if he ever shared his views on Giuliani’s drunken plan with the president, he stammered and replied, “Um…I think…uh…yes.”
