Japanese media sometimes call Pokémon Legends: Arceus ‘surprisingly difficult’

The Japanese media had their hands on previous copies of Pokémon Legend: Arceus and it looks like the game is a roller coaster full of ups and downs, according to early reviews.

There’s just over a week left before the game launches and early impressions suggest that it’s a Pokémon game like no other. In an article published by Famitsu and translated by Chronicles of video games, reviewers say the biggest immediate impact is the ability to move about the world freely.

“The first thing that struck me when I started playing was the excitement of being able to move freely across the open field,” the review said.
