James Gunn Shares Cute BTS ‘Guardian’ Photo With His Granddaughter
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Director James Gunn has once again taken to Twitter to share some behind-the-scenes moments from the beloved series.
In this case, it was a particularly wholesome photo of director Grace’s granddaughter on set Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
The photo looks like the fan’s final fantasy, surrounded by the film’s cast in costume, including Chris Pratt’s Star Lord, Zoe Saldana’s Gamora, Dave Bautista Drax, Michael Rooker’s Yondu, Pom Klementieff’s Mantis, and Karen Gillan’s Nebula. The tiny actor himself also dressed up as an alien.
Gunn is no stranger to including family members in his films. He had previously confirmed on Twitter that an elderly couple pictured in the film, who are said to be the Strange Old Man and the Strange Man’s Mistress, are actually Gunn’s parents.
In addition, Gunn’s brother, his wife and their three children were also in the same scene and were all killed by Ego. One of the other nieces and his brother-in-law also play the yellow alien destroyed by the evil character.
As for Grace, she plays the pink alien who is the first life form to meet Ego.
What we do know about the upcoming third installment to his Marvel trilogy so far, which only started shooting last week, is that Will Poulter will appear in the film as an Adam Warlock fan. and Peacewalker Actor Chukwudi Iwuji has also joined the cast.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
