Jacob Thomas pushes Stone Bridge past distant opponents and wins the 5th Division state championship

On Saturday, Thomas threw for two touchdowns and senior Eli Mason ran two more as the teams traded scores all afternoon. In an intense physical competition, the difference ultimately becomes a matter of points for Highland Springs. The Springers were penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct after the third and fourth touchdowns, pushing back by one point and two points respectively. Both were unsuccessful.
