On Sunday, Ishan Kishan came out on top in the bat at No. 3, scoring his first goal in a six-ODI cricket match against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Shihar Dhawan (86 *) and Ishani Kishan (59) excelled with the hammer as India defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the first ODI. With this victory, India took a 1-0 lead in a three-game series. Now the second ODI will be held on Tuesday.

“When we practiced, I knew I was in touch. I connected the ball very well. The same thing I had to do in my game, I knew I didn’t have to change my attitude. ” he added.
In the first ODI against Sri Lanka, Kishan made his debut in the 50-over format along with Suryakumar Yadav.
“For any player, knowing that he will make his debut, there can be no more arrogant moment. I cherished that moment, there were so many fans who always wanted me to play for the country. It was a special feeling. I was very proud. I’m doing it for the first time in ODIs. I could have finished the game, but I’m glad I made a small contribution for the side. “ said Ishani Kishan.
