You’re well aware of the fact that Spotlight Hour in the second half of November featured Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl starters, and we’ve already received the likes of Chimchar and Turtwig. Now, it’s time for Piplup.

Piplup is a Water-type Pokemon that was added in Generation 4 and comes from the Sinnoh region. It evolved into Prinplup and eventually into Empoleon.

Spotlight will run at normal hours, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. As far as Pokemon’s shiny status is concerned, it should be noted that a shiny Piplup can be found in Pokemon Go. Although the shine rate is not increased, you should still give it a try and you might get lucky.
