Last month was quite happening for Pokemon WOODo, like Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl was released and several events were held in the game to celebrate the launch. Furthermore, to mark the end of Naughty Section, there have been four more Spotlight Hours that differ from the usual ones, making things even more exciting for the fans out there.

Is there a shiny Magmar in Pokemon GO Spotlight Time December 2021?

In the second week of December, we have Magmar as the featured Pokemon in Highlights Hour. Spotlight Hour will begin at 6pm local time and will last until 7pm. Players will notice that Magmar’s spawn rate will increase for the duration of the event, although it won’t just last for an hour. On top of that, players will get double experience when evolving Pokemon.

Magmar is a Fire-type Pokemon that was added back in Generation and hails from the Kanto region. Players will see familiar Pokemon and recall Ash’s Charizard’s epic battle against it. It evolves from Magby to Magmar and finally to Magmortar.

Finally, players may be wondering if there’s a shiny variant of Pokemon in the game. Well, the good news is that there is indeed a shiny Magmar in Pokemon. You can easily tell it apart, thanks to its red versus orange appearance.
