Is Pokémon UNITE cross-platform? – Dot Esports

Pokémon UNITE Originally launched for the Nintendo Switch in July, it was the only way to play the new MOBA until September, when TiMi Studio and The Pokémon Company also released the game for mobile.
Now then UNITE Available on both platforms, the game is completely comprised of cross-platform gameplay and progression. This is done by linking the account each player uses with each device used to play the game, thus allowing the player to bring almost all UNITE data with them wherever they decide to go to war.
And don’t worry, players don’t need to register for Nintendo Switch Online to play. Instead, they can simply sign in with a Pokémon Trainer Club account or a Nintendo account across platforms to share progress across devices and play on Switch or mobile.

The only piece of data currently documented as non-transferable between versions of the game is Aeos Gems, the paid in-game currency that users acquire through microtransactions. Aeos Gems won’t switch between devices, but you won’t lose any of them when you throw them around.
The reason for this difference is the implication of real world money being used to purchase Aeos Gems, which makes it essentially impossible to find a legal way to get them between platforms, even when using a connected ecosystem. All other data, items and currency work no matter where you play.
