Is Bellana worth it? (Unity Review) – FandomSpot

Bellona is an Earth Elemental Ranger unit that excels at mowing down mobs of enemies with its AoE-intensive abilities.
And her Defense Break ability makes her a very solid addition to most PVE and PVP teams – Cleave team comps to be precise.
To show you just how good Bellona is and why she might be worth drawing for, let’s look at her performance and some recommendations for her physique.
Skills overview

Here are all of Bellona’s abilities and a brief description of her abilities:
- windbreak fan – Attacks a single enemy. When her focus is full, she will be consumed and Razorwind fan is activated.
- Butterfly Fan – Attacks all enemies and grants immunity to Bellona for 1 turn.
- Razorwind fan – Attacks all enemies. There is a chance to reduce the entire enemy team’s defense for two turns. When activated with Windbreak Fan, increases the chance of a Defense Break. soul burn is available for this skill. When used, the damage dealt by this skill is increased.
Just looking at her loadout, it’s easy to see why Bellona would fit in very well as a main or secondary DPS on most Cleave teams.
If we consider that her skill 1 can activate skill 3, that’s all her skills technically AoE.
Combine that with her ability to break through entire enemy team’s defenses and she’s a fantastic DPS unit to invest in.
Bellona in PVE

Just like most units that can split at least half as well as her, Bellona excels in speed farming adventure stages.
Not only that, she also performs pretty well in the tougher stages of the Abyss or Labyrinth – especially ones where there are a lot of mobs.
All you have to do is pair them up with a decent support unit that can set up their attacks with buffs (e.g. Auxiliary Lots, Flan, etc) and you’ve got yourself a mob wave clearing monster.
Bellona in PvP

She will not be as relevant in Arena and World Arena compared to her performance in most PVE stages. But Bellona is still a pretty useful unit for PVP battles.
If you build her with enough Speed and Crit, she will do well as a main DPS.
Conversely, if you build her with enough effectiveness, she will do well as a secondary DPS and defense breaker.
And as mentioned, Bellona fits very well in cleave-oriented team competitions. Surrounded by the right allies, she can even take your PVP team high in the rankings!
Recommended Builds for Bellona (Skills & Gear)

Recommended Artifacts: Iron Fan, Rosa Hargana, Daydream Joker
For general use, Rosa Hargana is the best artifact for her.
But if you want to use them in Boss Hunts, consider Iron Fan or Daydream Joker instead.
Recommended Skill Upgrades: 5/0/5
For Bellona’s skill splits, your priority should be on skill 3 as it has increased Defense Break chance and reduced cooldown. The rest is optional, but remember that investing in Ability 1 will help increase her damage output significantly.
Recommended gear sets: Speed Set & Crit Build Set / Speed Set & Hit Set Build
As with most DPS Cleave units (or almost all unit types), Bellona’s priority stat/sub-stat is Speed - followed by Attack and Effectiveness.
Is it worth building Bellona?

Bellona shines the most when it comes to speeding up adventure stages and driving PVP teams into oblivion.
Sure, it’s obviously not as good (or broken) as its Ice Element (SSB) counterpart. But withdrawing and investing in Bellona can still help most new or troubled accounts.
All in all I’d say go to her if you don’t have any decent breakers in your lineup and if she’s featured in a rate up banner. Otherwise everything would be fine considering she’s in the general pool anyway.
