IO will return to the Island in Fortnite Chapter Three

Fortnite Chapter Two dramatic ending live events in which Seven helped the inhabitants escape the wrath of the Cube Queen and overturned the Island to save reality. Now, Imagined Order (IO) is trying to make its way to the other side of the island, according to in-game trailers that surfaced this week.

Seven is working closely with Agent Jones to wipe out IO from existence. However, even after the Island was flipped, the organization still seems to be slowly getting on the map using the Driller vehicle. These machines have the IO logo, which further confirms they belong to the organization. Usually, these IO drill sites have two NPCs guarding the location and a jumping platform that ensures the player moves around in the game.

The first IO Drilling site appeared east of Logjam Lumberyard on January 4, 2022, and another appeared to the lower right of present-day Greasy Grove. These locations are in the snow part of the map and match Dr. Slone’s newly added stealth snow style in Fortnite crew package. Based on Fortnite leaker Hyperex, players should keep an eye on three more drill locations before IO makes clear their intention to return to the island.

IO is famous for its loop/simulation protection in which players get stuck, which forces them to relive the same day as part of a battle royale. However, Agent Jones made IO’s job difficult when he eventually broke all ties with the organization and shook hands with the Organization, the leader of the Seven.

IO comes on Fortnite Island certainly doesn’t mean good news for Seven. Drill Sites could be the subject for a Chapter Three sequel, there could be another conflict between IO and Seven as they fight for control of the island. It could also refer to the ending event of the first season Fortnite‘S Chapter 3.
