Investigation underway after teen sexually assaulted in Waterloo: police

Waterloo Regional Police say they’re investigating after it was reported {that a} teen was sexually assaulted in Waterloo on Sunday evening.

Police say the incident occurred shortly earlier than 9 p.m. close to the intersection of Caroline and William streets.

They are saying a 15-year-old woman was strolling within the space when a person approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

Police describe the suspect as round six toes tall with greying black hair and beard. He was stated to be sporting a white button-up shirt and black costume pants and carrying a dark-coloured messenger bag.
