Install the best Halo Infinite controller for multiplayer
While most would agree that Halo Infinite multiplayer plays great using a controller on PC or Xbox, there are several ways to improve the experience even further. With a few tweaks to the settings, Halo Infinite players can hit and dodge enemy fire slightly better than they can with the default settings.
Before discussing the best Halo Infinite install the controller, it’s worth mentioning that they can take some getting used to. It’s not a drastic learning curve but quantity dependent Halo Infinite matches a logged in player, they may be so used to the default settings that these new settings can affect them a bit. But once they get used to these settings, they will find their goals better than before.
What Halo infinite controller settings need to change
The first is the movement of the grid in relation to the movement of the player. In the Sensitivity and Acceleration section, we recommend setting the visual acceleration to 5, the interface sensitivity on the horizontal axis to 5, and the interface sensitivity on the vertical axis to 2.5. Increasing the sensitivity speed just a little helps to make those quick turns to engage enemies and it also allows Halo Infinite the player quickly clings to the ground or surface to throw grenades. However, the sight speed increase isn’t so fast that the player won’t be able to aim in a long-range gunfight.
For Zoom Sensitivity we recommend using 0.8 but this is where it can change. Are from Halo Infinite weapon is hit, it may not take long for the player to zoom in with their basic runner and gun. However, if the player frequently wields a sniper rifle or similar ranged weapon, they may want to increase the sensitivity even further or increase the Zoom Level (which we leave as default). This is the sweet spot we found.
Our recommendations for Halo Infinite The Move Thumbstick setting is to set Center Deadzoneone to 0, increase the entire Maximum Input Threshold setting to 15 and set Axial Deadzone to 0. Then, on the Look Thumbstick, set Center Deadzone to 8, Maximum Input Threshold at 10 , and Axis Dead Zone at 3.
One change players might want to make to the above settings is to push the Move Thumbstick Center Deadzone up. Setting it to 0 will only work if the Xbox controller is not drifting at all. Unfortunately, Xbox controllers are known to be a bit buggy, even Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. So if a player finds that it’s hard to keep the grid in focus, they’ll want to increase that Deadzone on the Move setting.
As mentioned, it can take some time to get used to these settings, but we’ve found them to improve accuracy and target response in Halo Infinite Multiplayer. That being said, if anything feels off, you should try with these settings to really spin them in.
Halo Infinite multiplayer is available in beta.
