It’s been almost nine years since BioShock Infinite was first released on seventh-generation consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, the racist themes and American exceptionalism that pervade the game feel like they are. designed specifically for today’s socio-political environment. However, fans are clamoring for a new experience with BioShock 4 and they may have just gotten a major clue about the game’s setting.

Fans recently discovered a website at theresalwaysalighthouse.com, a URL that directly references Elizabeth’s line of dialogue in BioShock Infinite. As it is written, only artful images of the starry sky and the “keep an eye out” message – which serves as the site name on browser tabs – can be found on Page.

Given the site’s sudden popularity and the fact that the Game Awards will take place on December 9, not to mention Infinite For reference, fans are searching the page for clues about the BioShock sequel. So, one popular theory is that the starry sky could hint at a spatial setting for the fourth game.

However, not everyone is convinced of the meaning behind the website and/or the image.

Every GameRant, the site may not be as new as some are claiming; Its origins have been traced back at least a year to 2020.

Here’s what we know: in December 2019, 2K Games confirmed that a new BioShock title, presumably BioShock 4, is in active development as forwarded by EuroGamer. However, the game, which is in development at the publisher’s Cloud Chamber studio, is said to be “several years away”.

More information will likely be given at The Game Awards. Until then, though, a new spatial setting should probably be seen as little more than a rumor.
