Informa Hires Kulego to Oversee Business Development, International – WWD

Informa Markets Fashion has placed Edwina Kulego on its board as vice president of international and business development, overseeing Plan, MAGIC, Coterie and Sourcing at MAGIC, effective December 23.

Most recently, she was vice president at Liberty Fairs, where she oversaw all aspects of the business. Prior to Liberty, Kulego established the International Business Development Department at UBM, the predecessor of Informa, in 2016 and led the launch of MAGIC Japan, now known as Plan Tokyo, in 2017. Kulego began her fashion commercial career in 2010 at Project and holds a degree in international business from Berkeley College. She was born to Ghanaian parents in Sweden, studied in France and Spain before moving to New York in 2007, and speaks five languages.

In his new role with Informa, Kulego will oversee all funding and new business opportunities as well as international business development. Her teams will focus on creating new market opportunities, strategic projects, and new avenues for commercial expansion for live events and digital platforms, while guiding the strategy. the company’s international growth strategy across the brand portfolio.
