India brings back 78 people as part of evacuation mission from Afghanistan

India on Tuesday introduced again 78 folks, together with 25 of its nationals and quite a few Afghan Sikhs and Hindus from Dushanbe, a day after they had been evacuated from Kabul to the Tajik metropolis.

The group together with three copies of the Guru Granth Sahib was airlifted from Kabul to Dushanbe by a army transport plane of the Indian Air Power on Monday. The evacuees had been acquired on the Indira Gandhi Worldwide Airport by Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and V Muraleedharan.

Earlier, Exterior Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi mentioned 78 individuals are being dropped at Delhi on an Air India flight. “Serving to within the protected return from Afghanistan.
