Index of Freedom of Domination of the Red States

Americans are fleeing the blue states to the red states. No matter what left-wing hell hole they’re running from, whether it’s in the Northeast, the West Coast, or a left-wing Midwest city, Americans have abandoned the autocrats of the green state.
The question became why did that happen? Is it a tax problem, many requests? Or rather, is it something deeper than cash, something to do with freedom?
A recently published study from the libertarian Cato Institute suggests that, even if taxes are a major factor in the blue exodus, it is also possible that Americans are moving to the states. where they can live as free people and states where they can do so. are the red states.
The study, called “Freedom in 50 countries, “Create a”ranks American states based on how their policies promote financial, regulatory, and personal freedom.“It examines financial freedom, personal freedom, education and many other areas, examining 230 factors overall. However, while there are 230 factors and those 25 subcategories, the three main categories the study examines are individual liberties, fiscal policy, and regulatory policy.
Describing why it combines both personal freedom and economic freedom, the study says:
Our index includes both economic and personal freedom because these two sets of freedoms complement each other. A country that scores highly for economic freedom but has no personal freedom – a hypothetical US Singapore – would not be a truly free country in the liberal tradition. A country with high personal freedom but low economic freedom – an American Argentina – would not provide the liberal conditions necessary for human development in the broadest sense.
To honestly examine what liberalism is, the report’s authors need a basic definition of it. Here is the definition they used:
We base our conception of freedom on a framework of individual rights. In our view, individuals should be allowed to dispose of their life, liberty and property as they see fit, as long as it does not infringe the rights of others.
And what it detects is that the red states, even if they are less free than ideal, are still dominant in the index.
The ten least free states are:
- New York
- Hawaii
- California
- New shirt
- Oregon
- Maryland
- Delaware
- Vermont
- New Mexico
- Rhode Island
Guess what is the common denominator between those states? In addition to Maryland and Vermont, both have RINO governors, each run by a Democrat. They all tend to vote very green.
And the ten most liberal states?
- New Hampshire
- Florida
- Nevada
- Tennessee
- South Dakota
- Indiana
- Michigan
- Georgia
- Arizona
- Idaho
The common denominator is the same: apart from Nevada and Michigan, each state is run by a Republican.
So, with a few exceptions, the red states are much more liberal than the blue states. Maybe that’s why Americans are fleeing them in droves: they want to live freely.
