IMD predicts heavy rainfall in several areas of Telangana

India Meteorological Department on Friday heavy forecast amount of rain in the twelve counties of Telangana.

“Red alert in three districts including Kumuram Bheem, Jagtial, Warangal and Orange warning in the state’s nine counties,” IMD.

Meanwhile, about 100 people were trapped in the flood caused by heavy rain in Nirmal district on Thursday was evacuated by National Disaster Response Force and State Disaster Response Force team.

Hyderabad City Corporation Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation said officials (GHMC) on Friday with the help of police rescued residents of low-lying areas such as Musi watershed Basti, Chaderghat, Shankar Nagar, Rasoolpura, Musarambagh and on the stretch Moosi.

On Thursday, K Chandrashekar Rao instructed Secretary General Somesh Kumar to dispatch NDRF teams in Nirmal towns that were flooded with water after incessant rain.
