Ibai to create ‘Disaster Chef’ cooking show with other streamers

Popular Spanish Twitch streamer Ibai announced his latest show titled Disaster Chef. The cooking competition is heavily influenced by the popular FOX show Super Chefas the two teams will compete for the title of best chef in front of three judges.

In the official announcement, Ibai specified that six celebrity streamer pairs will showcase their culinary talents over four episodes. All popular Spanish-speaking Twitch broadcasters, the duo will include Illo Juan and El Bokeron, Pandarina and Rioboo, Mayichi and Elisa, Carola and Cristinini, Knekro and Xokas, as well as Ibai and Barbe.

Live streamer Masi will host the show throughout its 4 episodes. Although there will be three judges, the identities of the culinary connoisseurs are unknown and will most likely be revealed only after the film’s premiere. Episode one will release on February 1 on Ibai’s Twitch channel.

Cooking demonstrations have been popular on Twitch, as some of the platform’s biggest creators have reacted with Super Chef and Hell Kitchen in front of a large audience. While recent ‘Reaction Meta’ may have put some streamers in hot water, streamers like Hasan and xQc have managed to keep the cooking content going.

Now that the streaming trend has evolved, it seems that the culinary arts have created a void on Twitch.
