Twitch streamer Hyubsama has indefinitely banned from the streaming platform. Hyubsama’s ban comes just days after he harassed fellow streamer crazy_japanese, although it’s unclear if this was an incident that led to his indefinite suspension.
This is Hyubsama’s first ban from the platform, although the Korean streamer has been embroiled in controversy throughout his streaming career. Starting his Twitch channel in 2019, Hyubsama rose to initial popularity shortly after, showing off his daily life in Japan with countless clips appearing on the front page of the Livestream Fails subsite.
During a live stream on January 23, the Twitch streamer met crazy_japanese at a bar in Tokyo. Few clips are now removed from VOD shows Hyubsama repeatedly trying to touch crazy_japanse despite her efforts to stop him. After crazy_japanese left the bar, Hyubsama continued to chase her outside the bar and on the street.
After stopping, crazy_japanese warned the drunk Hyubsama that he would be banned and asked the streamer to go home. Although the streamer eventually left the situation, much of the interaction was captured on footage and wasn’t removed until a few days later.
Four days later, Hyubsama was banned from Twitch, as announced by the StreamerBans Twitter account. Twitter users CommanderRoot confirmed that the Korean streamer faces an indefinite ban, with his previous acquired Twitch partnership revoked.
Hyubsama has yet to respond to the ban on Twitter or any of his other social media channels and it is unknown if he will return to the platform.
