How will NFTs affect the End Game in Ember Sword?

Last week we posted Part 1 of MMONFT’s Sword Ember Interview. Now, it’s time to visit Part 2, which covers two of the fundamental aspects of most RPGs, gear, and endgame. In most MMOs, the endgame consists of a gear treadmill, where the player continuously chooses new and more powerful gear, but in Sword Ember The most searched devices are all on the blockchain and have no competitive advantage. How will players continue to invest? Ember Swords end the game without stat-based gears?
Whether you’re fighting for territory or you’ve been attacked by some well, in most MMORPGs, players live and die by the gear they equip. In many ways, Sword Ember will work the same way, but there is one huge announcement when it comes to gear in this upcoming MMORPG. The most valuable gear will be cosmetic only, held on blockchain like NFT’s, offers no competitive stat rewards and cannot be lost in battle, unlike non-NFT gear.
Sword Ember there are plans for some large scale all-spoilt PvP on the outskirts of each region. The player will fight for the glory of his country, but the loser will lose the item to the victor. Due to the nature of all-trophy PvP, non-NFT gear that provides stats and helps mitigate damage can’t be particularly hard to obtain, so that players aren’t overly punished if they die, which would hinder popularity of world PvP . During the interview, Loren said that players should be able to get non-NFT gear relatively easily, and while some gear may have some slight differences in stats and bonuses, players should expect their skill to be the deciding factor in their competitive success.
However, if the device that gives you stat bonuses is relatively easily earned and it’s not on the blockchain, would players still want more? NFT . cosmetic equipment, once they get a set that they really like? The short answer is yes.
According to Loren, no competitive advantage can be earned with a blockchain-based device, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be other advantages. One example he provides is the “magic find” stat, which will give players a greater chance of finding rare materials or items. These items can be used to make new cosmetics or find other special cosmetic items. Cosmetics will also grow and change as you build them. If you’ve finally got a gear set you love, your NFT gear grinding hasn’t stopped, it’s just begun. With each new piece of fancy set you acquire, you can use it to upgrade the cosmetic NFT you’re wearing, granting you better rewards along the way, and increasing its value.
There’s also the basic idea that any pieces you see that you don’t want, you can sell to other players for real money. Realizing there can be some fundamental difficulty in finding enough of your desired gear to get it done, Loren predicts a strong community of buying, selling, and trading will keep the economy in (and out) games) is always bustling. While there may not be a direct correlation in strength with the gear you’re scrambling for at the end of the game, it seems Sword Ember are planning to grind gears of a different type. A place where the blockchain economy plays an important role in attracting players to continue crafting, collecting and fighting for their next potential NFT.
