How to unlock Specimen Hunt
The Specimen Hunt is a great way to get special items and XP in Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker, but the player will have to unlock this quest board.
In Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker, players now have access to a bounty board called The Hunt for Spec Sample. While this board is great for daily XP boosts, players will need to unlock the ability to use the board first.
What is the Hunt Board in FF14?
There are two Guild Hunt boards currently in FF14: one of the new place Old Sharlayan and one of Radz-at-Hand. Players can access these boards and get daily bonuses that give players special tokens and experience on completion. Hunt tokens can be exchanged for exclusive items with two NPCs: J’lakshai in Old Sharlayan and Wilmetta in Radz-at-Hand.
Unlock Specimen Hunt in FF14
To start these bounty hunts, Final Fantasy 14 Players will have to complete a long line of quests. First, they will need to go to the Grand Company Hall to get the side quest called “Let’s start the hunt. “
- Completing Let the Hunt Begin will unlock Let the Clan Hunt Beginning at The Forgotten Knight in Ishgard.
- Completing Let the Clan Hunt begin, and this unlocks Better Bill Hunt in the same location and Highest Score in scenic spots FF14 Idyllshire location.
- Once done, go back to the Forgotten Knight and get the Elite and Dangerous.
- Players will also have to complete the story quest Old Sharlayan New To You.
After all of this is completed, the last player will unlock the Specimen Hunt in Newbie-friendly MMORPG.
Search in Endwalker
Now that everything is unlocked, players can chat with Diminutive Gleaner in Old Sharlayan, then Northota, another NPC nearby. Players will now have access to both Hunting Tables. Interact with the board and click “Accept”. This will place all five hunting marks in the player’s inventory, allowing them to complete these for a reward. Each bounty is a request to hunt down a creature in the area that is causing trouble, or a request from a researcher for a specimen.
Players have time left of the day until reset to complete these and receive tokens before a new Hunting set arrives. Follow the instructions on the Hunt to not only find the monster and eliminate it in one Epic FF14 battle, then collect the required specimen. After level 83, higher level Hunts will also be unlocked for the player.
